Terms of Use

1. The service

Basement Gateway gives AI agents and programs one address for the knowledge of an organization and for its connected services. Each agent and each program has an access level. The activity log records each call. The SAP connector only reads.

2. Who can use it

Access is by invitation from an organization. You use the service for that organization. You must be 18 years or older, and the organization must authorize you.

If your organization has a contract with NKODE AI, the contract applies where it is different from these terms.

3. Account and access

• Keep the access to your e-mail safe. The sign-in code goes to your e-mail.
• The admins of the organization select the members, their roles and the access level of each agent and program.
• The key of an agent or a program is a secret. Keep it in a secrets vault. If the key leaks, revoke it.
• You are responsible for what your agents and programs do with the access that you gave.
• If you find a use that you did not authorize, tell your organization and write to hello@nkodeai.com.

4. Connected systems and services

Connect only the systems and accounts that you have permission to use.

For SAP, your organization must have the permission of the system owner. This permission must include the access through the VPN.

You use your own SAP user. The agent reads only what that user can read.

Other companies supply the connected services, and their terms apply. NKODE AI is not responsible for the operation of those services.

5. AI agents

Other companies supply the AI agents that you connect. You select the agents. The Gateway gives them the data that they ask for, in the limits of the access level.

An answer from AI can be incorrect or incomplete. Examine the answer before you decide. Keep one person responsible for each change to your systems. AI prepares. People decide.

6. Your content

The content that your organization keeps in the Gateway stays the property of the organization. You let us host, copy and send that content only to supply the service.

You make sure that you have the right to keep that content in the service.

7. Permitted use

You agree to these rules:

• Do not use the service for an illegal purpose.
• Do not access systems without permission.
• Do not try to bypass the access levels, the rate limits or the read-only limit of the SAP connector.
• Do not cause interference with the service.
• Do not do security tests of the service without an agreement with NKODE AI.
• Do not give your account or your keys to persons who must not have access.
• Do not sell the service to other persons without a written agreement.

8. Desktop app and SDKs

You can install the Basement Gateway app on the computers of the members of your organization, for use with the service. Each SDK package states its license.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available. But the service can stop for maintenance, for security or because a provider has a failure.

The service changes with time. We can add, change or remove functions. If a change has an effect on your use, we tell you before the change when that is possible.

10. Commercial conditions

NKODE AI agrees the commercial conditions with each organization, in a proposal or a contract.

11. Suspension and end

You can stop the use of the service at any time. The organization can ask us to delete its data.

We can suspend an access that breaks these terms or that causes a risk to the service or to other organizations. If we do this, we tell the organization.

12. Warranties and liability

We supply the service as it is. In the limits that the law permits, NKODE AI is not liable for indirect damage, lost profit or lost data.

This applies to damage from the use of the service, from the services of other companies and from decisions that use AI answers.

These terms do not limit a liability that the law does not permit us to limit.

13. Trademarks and software

Basement, Basement Gateway and the mark are the property of NKODE AI. These terms give you only the right to use the software as this page shows.

14. Governing law

The laws of Brazil apply to these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we publish the new version on this page with its date. If the change is important, we send an e-mail to the admins of the organizations.
